Distributed and Lumped Constant Delay Lines

Logo Polara's product portfolio ranges from quality commercial lines to high reliability and military grade products guided by the requirements of MIL-D-83531 and MIL-D-83532.

Passive Lines

Logo Passive DIP parts, with a broad range of delay times, are available in 14-pin to 30-pin versions, with a variety of pinouts. Passive SIP parts include 7-pin to 14-pin types; single, 5-tap, and 10-tap styles, and short-delay trimmer versions.

Active Lines

Logo Polara's active parts encompass DIP, SIP, and MINI-DIP packages; TTL and ECL types, including programmables; high reliability models; and versions meeting stringent military specifications. Included are 8-pin to 24-pin types; single to multiple tap styles; surface mount varieties; and hermetically sealed cases and cans.

Magnetic Components

Logo Among the many types of magnetic components Polara has designed and delivered to commercial, industrial and military customers are IF-RF and filtering inductors,  isolation and pulse transformers, and air and self-supported coils.

Inductors and Coils

Logo Polara has designed linear and toroidal inductors for demanding applications, with inductances ranging from 0.1 to 10 microhenries, at operating frequencies up to 100 MHZ. The Q of these high quality products is up to 100. Military versions meet all applicable MIL spec requirements.

Pulse Transformers

Logo State-of-the-art pulse transformers have been created by Polara for such critical applications as data communication interfaces, impedance matching, SCR triggering, and balanced-to-unbalanced line conversion. Many Polara designs have featured low profile, miniature, surface mount, and hermetically sealed packages.

Special Components

Logo Because of our sophisticated engineering design capabilities, Polara is frequently called upon to develop and design special components for difficult industrial, computer, medical, aerospace and military applications. Among these are various low to medium power LC devices, as well as transformers in special packaging configurations to fit compact requirements in missiles, rockets, space vehicles, ground vehicles, and portable and transportable equipment.

Logo Polara has also provided specially designed electromagnetic components for computers, large and small, as well as a range of communications equipment and systems.

Logo As a consequence, Polara is prepared to undertake projects requiring some basic research, in addition to creative design and development requirements, and to meet even the most stringent specifications and standards.

Custom Components

Logo Our custom components experience is a catch all for any type of product our customers might need that fits within our capabilities. Polara has been called upon to produce unique modules that utilize many different types of electromagnetic devices. These have included communication coupling transformers, high frequency multi-channel oscillators, and many other unique products.
